Reading group “Beyond Humanism”
The reading group “Beyond Humanism” in this summer semester 2019 is also the preparatory working group for the Cologne Summer School of Interdisciplinary Anthropology (CSIA) IV (September 23–27, 2019).
We are going to read classical texts from cybernetics, trans- and posthumanism, the philosophy of technology and various posthuman theoretical approaches from anthropology and the philosophy of subjectivity. In addition, we will discuss the works of the invited guests of the Summer School. As a result of the reading group, we want to compile the reader for the CSIA 2019.
