The Network at the University of Cologne
With its interdisciplinary and international focus, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School participates in several valuable partnerships with other universities and graduate networks in Germany and abroad. Through these partnerships researchers are able to take full advantage of the broad spectrum of resources that one of the biggest European Humanities departments, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne, has to offer.
Committed to supporting interdisciplinary exchange, a.r.t.e.s. has established and continues to support research partnerships not only through Research Training Groups within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Cologne but also beyond, within other faculties at the University of Cologne and at our partner universities. Furthermore, we have cooperation agreements and partnerships through the Research Centres and Cooperation Projects of the Faculty.
To maintain international connections and further train its doctoral students, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School fosters international cooperations for said students through international summer school programmes and international conferences. An even broader network is available to students through the a.r.t.e.s. EUmanities-programme.
