The a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne wants to support young academics with children as much as possible. For this reason, a.r.t.e.s. provides targeted funding and offers child care services for families.

Within the framework of a.r.t.e.s. family support, scholarship holders can apply for a family supplement of up to 400 Euros per month (with another 100 Euros for every subsequent child). In addition to this, the scholarship can be adapted to suit the needs of parents, e.g. a part-time scholarship is possible. This also applies toscholarship holders caring for dependent relatives.     

With the family room at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School (room 1.B18) academics can bring their children along while they are researching, working, etc. A baby changing table can be found in the family room. Furthermore, child care is provided during conferences.
