Funded Events
“a.r.t.e.s. international – for all”
With its project “a.r.t.e.s. international – for all”, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School was able to provide grants for doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities as well as for doctoral candidates from abroad from November 2014 until June 2019. This programme supported numerous research stays and conference participation abroad as well as the organisation of international doctoral workshops and beyond. The project was promoted by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) within the programme IPID4all (International promovieren in Deutschland – für alle) and funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project was a follow-up from the first DAAD funding phase from 2010 to 2014.
(The project “a.r.t.e.s. international – for all” was discontinued at the end of June 2019.)
To offer doctoral students at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities the opportunity to meet and network with international scholars early on in their careers, a.r.t.e.s. international made funding available for the invitation of international scholars and graduate students to conferences and doctoral workshops (organised for specialists as well as interdisciplinary groups of participants).
