Introductory Event

“Promovieren an der Philosophischen Fakultät”

Once per semester, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School offers an introductory event for the doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne. The event provides information on everything concerning the doctoral process. Proof of participation is saved in a.r.t.e.s. access and must be submitted with the finished doctoral dissertation. Such proof is saved automatically in a.r.t.e.s. access about one week after successful participation in the event.

Introductory event in the winter term 2025/2026:

The introductory event will take place on December 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. via Zoom (registration from November 10, 2025)

Doctoral students can register via a.r.t.e.s. access.
