Introductory Event

“Promovieren an der Philosophischen Fakultät”

Once per semester, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School offers an introductory event for the doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne. The event provides information on everything concerning the doctoral process. Proof of participation is saved in a.r.t.e.s. access and must be submitted with the finished doctoral dissertation. Such proof is saved automatically in a.r.t.e.s. access about one week after successful participation in the event.

Introductory event in the summer semester 2026:

The introductory event will take place on May 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. in the “Skyfall” room (Aachener Str. 217, 3rd floor).

Doctoral students can register via a.r.t.e.s. access from April 7 to April 30, 2026.
