Introductory Event

“Promovieren an der Philosophischen Fakultät”

Once per semester, the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School offers an introductory event for the doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne. The event provides information on everything concerning the doctoral procedure. Doctoral students who were granted admission after June 11, 2015, must take part in one of the introductory events. Proof of participation is saved in a.r.t.e.s. access and is required to hand in the finished doctoral thesis. Such proof is saved automatically in a.r.t.e.s. access about one week after successful participation.

Introductory event in the summer semester 2023:

The introductory event will take place digitally on May 15, 2023 from 10 am to 2 pm at Tagungsraum (Seminargebäude, Universitätsstraße 37, 50931 Köln).

Doctoral students are able to register in a.r.t.e.s. access until May 7th, 2023.
