Doctorate

As the integrated graduate school of the UoC’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, a.r.t.e.s. is responsible for all doctoral projects pursued at the Faculty. Doctoral studies at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities are conducted either according to the standard model of individual doctoral studies or as part of the structured doctoral programme “Integrated Track”.

You can participate in the Integrated Track either as a collegiate, without financial support provided by the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School, or through various funding programmes at the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School. Calls for applications for doctoral scholarships are published in the winter semester, while calls for applications for scholarships for the preparation of a doctoral dissertation project (Pre-doc) are published in the summer semester. Applications for formal admission to doctoral studies can be submitted at any time. Admission is granted by the doctoral board of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
