Equality Board

The Equality Board of the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne comprises representatives of all a.r.t.e.s. departments and the Gender Equality Officer of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Cologne.

The members of the Equality Board are

  • Vanessa Ossini
  • Gabriella Higgins

The Equality Board advises the a.r.t.e.s. Directorate and all scholarship holders and collegiates on any aspects relating to equality issues. The focus is on promoting the equality of women and artists with children as well as of researchers (female and male) from families with no academic background. Furthermore, the Equality Board also provides information on the current state of affairs with regard to equality issues and cooperates with advice centres to promote the compatibility of family and academic career.
