Cooperation with GESIS

a.r.t.e.s. praxis is cooperating with GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences

From spring 2014, thanks to a new cooperation between a.r.t.e.s. and GESIS - Leibniz Institue for the Social Sciences, PhD candidates of both a.r.t.e.s. track programs will be to attend courses organizes by the GESIS institute. These courses will teach participants about specialist processes from the area of empirical social research in an application-orientated manner - including the research, evaluation and analysis of suitable data. The following course formats will be offered:

The GESIS-Institute was established in 1986, has locations in Mannheim, Cologne and Berlin and is the largest infrastructure facility for social sciences in Germany. GESIS will be providing a limited number of a.r.t.e.s. PhD students with the opportunity to take part in courses and seminars taking in Cologne free of charge.
