a.r.t.e.s. praxis

The a.r.t.e.s. praxis programme consists of a wide range of workshops and courses that are available to all doctoral students of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and through which supplementary qualifications can be obtained. The a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School has also been collaborating with GESIS, the Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, and students have the opportunity of participating in its programme.

Registration

Please register with Alexander van Wickeren (avwicker(at)uni-koeln.de) and enclose an enrolment certificate for the winter semester.

The Registration for doctoral students within the Regular Track is possible from September 10 to 20, 2018.

  • The number of workshop participants is limited. Registrations are processed in chronological order. If your registration was successful, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Participation in courses offered by a.r.t.e.s. praxis is free of charge. You can withdraw your registration by email until 14 days before the start of the course. After this, withdrawal free of charge is only possible due to illness. In this case, you are required to submit a medical certificate. If you are unable to submit one, a.r.t.e.s. will charge a cancellation fee of 50,00 Euros. With your registration, you declare your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • Please bring your own food and drinks to the course. The a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School is unable to provide meals.
  • Some courses require preparation. You will receive information about the necessary preparation right in time before the course starts.
