The a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne stands for academic training at the highest level. With its broad interdisciplinary approach, it contributes to understanding a wide range of knowledge processes. It is funded by the German Excellence Initiative and the European Union.

As the graduate school of the entire Faculty of Arts and Humanities, a.r.t.e.s. covers all academic qualification levels from Master to postdoc. With its network of cooperation partners around the world, the graduate school offers events and programmes that support the internationalization of academic inquiry and research.
