Since its foundation in 2009, the kunstfenster of the a.r.t.e.s. Graduate school has already originated eight exhibitions. These exhibitions have had an impact both at the graduate school and the University of Cologne, as well as in the city and other institutions of cultural and public life. Regional artists, students of the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM), and names of international renown such as Matteo Pericoli or Khaled Hafez all dared to and succeeded in entering into a dialogue with students and sciencists of a.r.t.e.s. The result is a series of exhibitions showing a wealth of different topics, in a variety of different media and materials.
